Consumers Interstate Corp. a large distributor of factory expense supplies in New England announced on April 23 that the trademark “Lean Procurement™” was approved by the US patent and trademark office. “The trademark will be used solely by our company as part of our marketing campaign to clearly identify our support and position in the marketplace’s lean manufacturing initiative”, said company President Kenn Fischburg.
